Management Support

What should we report to constituents?

Management of any institution typically has obligations to more than one different constituency. It may be shareholders, clients, providers, or employees in the case of a for-profit corporation, or additionally the fund raisers or donors in cases of not-for-profit organizations. Essentially, constituencies include any group that has a stake in the organization or its results. Each group may need different information in order to excel in their specific roles. Hartline and its team of managers have experience in working with many types of organizations. We can help develop the communications channels and information flow within our client’s organizations and capture the right information for each group.

Organizations must articulate their investment objectives and investment guidelines as an important part of obtaining results that are successful to them. It is not just about beating the performance of an index, but also about what kinds of risk or variability can be tolerated and understanding the tradeoffs.   Hartline’s managers have worked with over 175 organizations with over $3.5 billion in assets in their careers over the last 35 years. These organizations run the gamut and their objectives have been equally varied. We would be glad to discuss the particular needs of your organization and the development of appropriate benchmarks. The process is not static should be reviewed regularly.
